Kwarta Milestone: 6 years after

Six years ago, at the end of this same month, I got around 10k in net worth. I think I was in the last few months of paying up my reconstructed debt. For several months after, I despised lingering debts. That explains the minimal red stripes in the months immediately after I got my certificate of full payment from the banks. But then I learned how to take a debt responsively and manage them to work to my advantage. The magic word is "leverage". I never got out of debt thereafter as you may have noticed in the graph. In reality, it is more than what I booked above. But it's a personal choice to book a debt when it's due. I suck at accounting but to me, it makes perfect sense. Besides, I do not book an apparent income until I got it.

Also, I do not book physical assets. Those green stripes are all liquid, semi-liquid and receivables (due for the month).

What you don't see is the ugly picture to the left of that. Have I started documenting my finances earlier, you'd see a bloody mess. I've hit rock bottom and I've clawed myself out.

Even I've become doing particularly well after, it was not a smooth ride. There are bumps and detours but I choose to be positive and ponder a bit more on decisions to avoid that once destructive path and continue clawing myself up.

Once again, I am currently in a huge fork in the road. This is particularly significant because it will define my life moving forward. I just hope that whatever decision I may take, it will just help me grow not just financially but as a person.
